Rumors
by Neil Simon

Directed by Alex Patton

After School Productions is putting on Rumors in association with The Theatre Company of The Dalles. This production will be held at The Dalles-Wahtonka High School on August 6-8 (7:00 p.m.). (There are two performances on August 8th - 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.)."The story starts with people gathered in the posh suburban residence of a couple for a dinner party celebrating their tenth anniversary. When people arrive, they discover there are no servants, the hostess is missing, and the host - the deputy mayor of New York City - has shot himself through the earlobe. Comic complications arise when, given everyone's upper class status, they decide they need to do everything possible to conceal the evening's events from the local police and the media (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rumors)."
